¾CupFresh boiled waterOnly use around ⅓ cup for the iced version*
¼CupMilk of choice
Instructions
Steep the tea for 2-4 minutes in freshly boiled water.
When steep time is over, remove the tea solids and sweeten if desired.
Serve with milk to taste.
Notes
To make iced earl grey milk tea:
Use much less water to steep the tea. This way the tea won’t taste watered down when adding ice cubes.
Sweeten while the tea is still hot, so the sweetener dissolves easily.
You may cold brew the earl gray (steep it in cold water for 6 hours or overnight in the fridge). Take into consideration that in this case, you’d need to sweetened with simple syrup.
